This Milky Oolong tea comes from fujian province in China. Black tea, white tea, green tea and oolong tea all come from the same mighty plant (Camelia sinensis). It’s the way they’re produced that makes them different.

It is said that Oolong tea is “between black and green”. Because oolong tea is only partially oxidized, and also has the power and flavor of black tea, while maintaining the fragrant lightness of green tea.

This Milky Oolong tea contains absolutely no milk, but it does contain its buttery aroma. In fact, milk is rare in Asia, as most people don’t possess the gene to break it down. This delicious tea owes its taste to the high altitude at which it grows and thus obtains its fresh and mildly sweet, thick and creamy body. A clear soft tea and a dream to drink.
