Literally, this tea means “Golden Eyebrow” because of the shape and color of the early spring shoots that are used for this tea. The buds or shoots are fully oxidized and lightly roasted to obtain a tea with a sweet, fruity and floral taste with a long-lasting sweet aftertaste. The brew is bright reddish in color. It is a symbol of high-end black tea and is one of the most expensive types of black tea in China today.

In order not to let this tea become too bitter, it is good to respect the maximum draught time. Black tea has a strong taste and contains more caffeine and tannins than green tea. It can therefore perfectly guide real coffee lovers to take the step to tea.
