Kijonenpu is a kijoshu that has matured for 1, 3 or 7 years. This sake style, unknown in Japan, consists of adding sake from previous years to the fermentation vessels. It tastes roasted and sweetened. Kijonenpu is the result of a reduction with sake and a ripening process of one year. Complex and sweet on the palate, it is the perfect dessert sake, which will do wonders with pastries and cakes, and even blue cheeses. Be surprised by its spicy and sweet aromas.
